After disappearing for about two weeks, SeaTurtlesPTR is back up and with a new domain. It is now at a .net address instead of .com. Hopefully this will put an end to the nearly once-yearly downtime the site was suffering due to the weird domain registration. However, I still can't in good conscience recommend this site right now. I will have to wait and see how things go from here. After the Bang the Links, etc. fracas and the other runner POs lately, I'm finding myself being much more cautious and suspicious of any odd behavior. Kris has never been anything but professional with me though, so I'm willing to give the site another chance.

Old Amsterdam Post raised their rates recently for point ads. For example, it used to cost 3100 points for 500 six point PTCs, and now it's almost double that at 6000 points. I'm not sure when this change took effect; it may have been while I was on vacation. I just noticed it today when I went to redeem for ads. My best guess is that the owner is trying to get rid of some of the glut of points on the site. There are very few cash ads/emails and way too many point ads running right now. That's just a guess, though.
